PBB Vargas’ father breaks silence
BORACAY – The father of Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Joe Vargas finally broke his silence and expressed his full support to his 17-year-old son.
Jojo, however, refused to comment on the news reports that he left his family and transferred in this resort island.
Internet reports said one of the greatest fears of Joe, Genesis Joseph in real life, is reconciling with his dad.
“What Joe said is an internal matter. What is important for now is for us to be able to support my son in his PBB endeavor. As his father, I am proud of him. I don’t have anything to ask from my son; he is independent already and I thank God for whatever success he is attaining now,” said Jojo who is working as a school instructor in Aklan.
To show proof that he is the legitimate father of Joe, Jojo showed pictures of him and Joe and younger brother Jonathan Joel.
Jojo said he will soon be embarking on a campaign for his son.
“This is part of my personal endeavor to support him in his joining the PBB,” he said.
In the PBB, Joe is considered as the “Swabeng Komikero” of Quezon City. He is described as funny, confident and cheerful./
