Police investigates grenade throwing incident in Aklan(0)
KALIBO, Aklan-– The local police in Aklan is now investigating the grenade throwing incident around 5:30 a.m. Friday which targeted the house of Lezo municipal councilor and his son, a practicing journalists in the province.

Lending company robbed
KALIBO, Aklan – A lending company in this capital town was robbed by two unidentified persons yesterday morning.
Motor Trust Lending Corporation along Veterans Avenue was robbed around 9:55 a.m. Verlyn Apundar, assistant supervisor of the lending company, was alone in the office when the suspects entered.

Abused women to receive P10,000
KALIBO, Aklan – Five abused women here will each receive P10,000 as livelihood assistance from the Aklan provincial government.
Jessebel Vidal of the Aklan Provincial Gender and Development Council said the amount will be used by the women to start a new life and recover from their traumatic experience.
