Chess: GM Torre to visit Aklan Saturday
KALIBO, Aklan – Chess Grandmaster Eugene Torre is scheduled to visit Aklan province Saturday and will pay a courtesy call to Gov. Carlito Marquez.

Aklan to host regional arnis competition
KALIBO, Aklan – Hundreds of students and martial arts hobbyists in Western Visayas region are coming to Tangalan town for a two-day regional competition on arnis.
